Bilmuri Reno reviews
Kev Mo rocked & Bonnie brought down the house!
Great show in a great venue! Bilmuri is well deserved of the title 'American Master' as she wailed on the guitar and sang with a voice that has matured into a solid bluesy throb. Her backup band were all extremely accomplished musicians and they played tight and you could see they were having a ball putting out some great sounds. Kev Mo commanded the stage giving a funky performance with no backup players.
I was lucky enough to see Bilmuri in a small venue in Willimantic, Conn. called the Shaboo Inn when we were both in our twenties. Her slide guitar playing is second to none! Had the privilege of seeing her again at least once in each of our decades and this performance was as rich and satisfying as any.
The Pacific Amphitheatre is also a wonderful venue, easy to access, just intimate enough with two huge screens on either side of the stage that bring you up front and personal with the acts from any seat.
I highly recommend Kev Mo, Bilmuri and the Pacific Amphitheatre!
